This artwork, either through its composition and page orientation, strives to reflect the sloth’s arboreal prowess and highlight its remarkable adaptation to the habitat it calls home.

On the top, the full-body scene captures the sloth in one of its most iconic poses - hanging comfortably from all four limbs, its body forming a shape akin to a raindrop.

The half-body scene showcases the sloth’s ease and nimbleness in using only its legs and powerful claws to hang upside down. This view equally brings into focus the substantial size of animal arms and their vital role in every aspect of their lives.

Offering an intimate look at the sloth’s head, the portrait at the bottom of the page draws attention to the intricate details of its coarse fur and distinctive facial markings.

The circular close-up captures the unique markings that male sloths develop on their backs as they mature - magnifying the riveting allure and complexity of this creature’s appearance.

Finally, a zoomed-in view of the front limbs displays the sloth’s impressive claws and the green hues in its fur, revealing how these help it blend seamlessly into the rainforest backdrop.
